George, a Gentle Giant

George began hanging out in the shelter yard last fall, enduring snow and frigid temperatures, but too shy to allow himself to be caught by PAWS volunteers. Finally captured and taken to be neutered, George now calls the cat room home. He has his own bed and belongings, and spends a lot of time resting on top of the inmates' cages, making friends and offering company to lonely shelter cats during the long dark nights.
